Whether you are just starting out or you’ve been raw feeding for some time there is always plenty to learn. I do not consider myself an expert and anyone that does will still find new things to learn. Like anything new if you are thinking of switching to raw then research as much as you can and then prepare! You’ll need to work out the amount of food your pet requires for each meal.

Raw feeding is a ratio of: 80% meat (including oily fish, heart & tripe – these are classed as meat!) 10% bone 5% liver 5% any other organ, dogs don’t need every meal to be balanced and are perfectly happy to achieve balance over time.

Many people also like to add supplements like eggs, turmeric, Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) or coconut oil – for extra health benefits. At Raw4Life we are here to help you provide your fur babies with what nature intended!
